Dapper Cat Theatre is a not-for-profit theatre company dedicated to telling bold, honest stories and keeping theatre accessible to all. Everything we raise is reinvested into creating meaningful work and bringing live performance to communities that are often overlooked—rural areas, working-class audiences, and places where theatre is rarely seen.

Our name is inspired by Rags, a kitten found abandoned in a garage and given a second chance. Her rags-to-riches journey reflects the stories we champion: ordinary people striving for something better. We create theatre that captures the beauty, struggle, and resilience of real life—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
